Openforms consist of two parts:
- Runtime:
The runtime instances are autonomous and represent the forms created in the admin-instance. Several runtime instances may be created for scale reasons. - Admin-Instance:
The admin instance is used for administrative and editorial work, i.e. to structure and administer contents.
The following tasks can be carried out using the openforms admin frontend:- Editorial Work
- Creating form, questionnaires and processes from modules and paragraphs
- Releasing and publishing content (see versions&status and publish)
- Compiling and integrating media (see links and references )
- Testing contents (see preview)
- Analyses of user input
- Administrative Work
- Compiling users, user groups and access authorizations (see user roles and privileges and /wiki/spaces/O5/pages/13893832)
- Configuring the runtime instances
- Configuring the preview servers
- Creating the general site structure
- Editorial Work
Comment: Which tasks can be performed after logging into the admin frontend is dependent upon the groups or rather their access rights. Gray areas signify lack of access authorization.
