Openforms consist of two parts:

  1. Runtime:
    The runtime instances are autonomous and represent the forms created in the admin-instance. Several runtime instances may be created for scale reasons.
  2. Admin-Instance:
    The admin instance is used for administrative and editorial work, i.e. to structure and administer contents.

    The following tasks can be carried out using the openforms admin frontend:
    1. Editorial Work
    2. Administrative Work

Comment: Which tasks can be performed after logging into the admin frontend is dependent upon the groups or rather their access rights. Gray areas signify lack of access authorization.
