Documents

In openforms 5, all parent content is stored as documents. It doesn’t matter if that content is an image, a form page, or a website. The documents are sorted hierarchically as a tree structure, similar to file structures in operating systems. They can contain documents themselves, but they can also consist of other data structures such as media or form paragraphs.

The tree structure makes it possible to store content such as data lists, images or texts centrally and to reference them from different form pages. This means that the content can be reused and, if necessary, updated at a central location.
